Case study
The Ego Cepte app is Ankara’s public transportation platform, but users frequently face issues with usability, card management, and navigation. The app suffers from poor accessibility, unclear iconography, inconsistent UI, and frustrating balance top-up flows, making commuting less efficient for its users.
The aim of this redesign was to enhance the onboarding and card management experience, especially for newcomers and daily commuters, by creating a more intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly interface.
The project followed a research-driven design process: starting with heuristic and netnographic analyses, followed by defining user personas and pain points, then progressing through information architecture, wireframing, and UI design.
Due to time constraints, the focus was placed on the onboarding and balance-loading flows, which were prototyped to demonstrate improved clarity, feedback, and personalization in the user journey.
