Case study
Despite Aeropress’s popularity and versatility, there’s no seamless digital experience that supports coffee lovers in discovering, personalizing, and smoothly brewing recipes.
To design a simple, flexible, and enjoyable app experience that helps users explore new Aeropress recipes and guides them through brewing—tailored to different experience levels.
The design process followed a full UX cycle:
Discover: User interviews, forum reviews, competitor analysis
Define: Synthesized insights, created personas, and conducted card sorting
Develop: Built wireframes, a design system, and prototyped key flows
Deliver: Programmed with Flutter, tested brewing flows, and implemented features like timers, personalization, and recipe sharing
